India's fracture crisis demands better answers

India records 8.9 million bone fractures annually. Road accidents account for 63% of trauma cases, with 30% classified as grievous injuries.

Of these, over 1.1 lakh patients require revision surgery — often because conventional metallic screws cause pinching, soft tissue irritation, or implant failure in complex anatomies.

Anatomica was founded to change this. We bring two complementary product lines to the Indian orthopaedic surgeon: proven titanium trauma implants for everyday fracture fixation, and a breakthrough bioabsorbable screw technology for the cases where metal falls short.

A multi-material screw with a bioresorbable polymeric outer shell and a bio-inert inner rod. Provides cortical-bone-equivalent strength during healing, then gradually absorbs — eliminating the need for implant removal surgery.
